Rescue Inc. representative needed

HALIFAX — HALIFAX-At the Dec. 4 Selectboard meeting, the board accepted the resignation of Christina Moore as the town representative to Rescue Inc.'s board of trustees.

According to meeting minutes, Moore offered to help the Selectboard recruit a replacement for the board of the 15-town nonprofit ambulance, to be named with other town appointments in March.

“A candidate for the position would be someone with an interest in public service administration or a public charity board member who can build endowments,” the minutes state.

Moore told the board that the position requires approximately four hours a month.

School kitchen seeks containers

HALIFAX - The kitchen of the Halifax School is looking for donations of plastic containers that can be used in the freezer.

Donations can be dropped off at the school office or the Town Clerk's Office.
