I have never, ever had an issue with parking in Brattleboro. I have never had an issue finding parking spaces, paid or otherwise.
You need change - that's the only rub.
Most of the disgust comes from locals who seem to hate their parking lots and in particular, paying for parking.

I doubt that Senator Patrick Leahy will run for another term. It's one reason he can cut his losses and do as he pleases, which may get him some honorary post in a Hillary Clinton presidency.
