BRATTLEBORO — Camp for a Common Cause, a fundraiser benefitting the Brattleboro Area Drop In Center and Morningside Shelter, is a continuing success, the organizations report.
The event, a campout held on the Brattleboro Common May 3-4, has raised roughly $10,000 to date, and donations reportedly continue to arrive by mail and online.
Most importantly, the groups said, participants and the community gained valuable awareness and perspective on homelessness in the greater Brattleboro area.
