Brattleboro seeks to fill committee vacancies

BRATTLEBORO — The Town of Brattleboro seeks citizens to serve on the following committees and boards:

Agricultural Advisory Board; Arts Committee; Citizen Police Communications Committee; Development Review Board Alternate; Honor Roll Committee; Inspector, Lumber, Shingles, and Wood; Senior Solutions Representative; SEVCA Representative; Town Manager Search Citizen Committee; Town Service Officer; and the Tree Advisory Committee

The newly formed Town Manager Search Citizen Committee is an ad hoc committee of the Selectboard for the purpose of providing citizen feedback about second-round town manager candidates.

The committee will consist of five members and be charged with meeting with and interviewing town manager candidates in confidential executive session during the second round of interviews using a format and questions the Selectboard approves.

The committee and Selectboard will then meet privately to discuss the field of candidates. The Selectboard will make appointments at its meeting Oct. 1.

Applications for the Town Manager Search Citizen Committee must be received at the Town Manager's office by Thursday, Sept. 26, at 5 p.m.
