BCTV rolls out the red carpet to premiere its new studio

BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Community Television invites you to dress for the red carpet and be seen at their annual meeting, Wednesday, Oct. 9, at BCTV's newly renovated studio on the third floor of the Brattleboro Municipal Center, 230 Main St.

At the meeting, set for 6 to 8 p.m., members will elect new board members and vote on other member business. Although all are welcome, anyone who has been a BCTV member as of Aug. 31 may vote. Food is provided by The Marina.

According to BCTV Executive Director Cor Trowbridge, BCTV is pulling out all the stops with a multi-camera shoot of the entire event, including interviews on the red carpet and photo ops in front of the “celebrity wall.”

Trowbridge also will report on the state of the station, and demonstrate how cutting-edge equipment and technology expands the potential for live local programming throughout southern Windham County.

BCTV will present its Producer Awards to winners in front of a live studio audience, and a montage of the year in review, pulled together from video clips, will show us what BCTV caught of our communities in action.

Broadcasting on channels 8 and 10, BCTV is community access television created by and for the residents of Brattleboro, Dummerston, Guilford, Jamaica, Newfane, Putney, Townshend, and Vernon.

Whatever you see on BCTV is a reflection of the people who use BCTV to communicate their views and interests - from church services to local meetings, music and arts, public affairs, and experimental film.
