Thanks from friends of RFPL

BELLOWS FALLS — The Friends of the Rockingham Library's annual holiday open house on Dec. 7 was well attended and offered a chance to see the nearly completed renovations of the library building.

The group thanks all who attended for their interest and support, specifically staff members Emily Zervas, Samantha Maskell, Ellen Allman, Mary VanHartsveld, and Alma Beals, who provided food and beverages.

A raffle, to benefit the Friends' projects, was held in conjunction with the party. Through the generosity of Pat and Alan Fowler of Village Square Booksellers and of Ray Massucco, the top prizes were a Kobo Arc e-reader and tickets for two to the 2014 Roots on the River concert weekend. Thanks to others who contributed prizes: Elayne Clift, Sue Lampe-Wilson, Donna Stevens, Hope Brissette, and Laura Senes.

Winners of the raffle prizes: three-month membership at Greater Rock Fitness, Elayne Clift; prism suncatcher, Lee and Byron Stookey; certificate to Church Street Kitchen, Ray Massucco; cheesecake, Susan Warner; certificate to Lisai's Market, Susan Warner; certificate to Mystery on Main Street, Bob DeRusha; one hour writing/editing consultation with Elayne Clift, Susie Peters; Roots on the River tickets, Larry Clark; and the Kobo Arc, Hugh Haggerty.
