Timson Hill open house features ‘Kaspar and the Cow’

WILLIAMSVILLE — Timson Hill Preschool, 13 Timson Hill, will host an Open House on Saturday, March 14, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Join them for snacks and fun games and art activities. Parents and teachers will be on hand to speak with prospective families about what they feel makes Timson Hill a distinctive preschool experience.

There will be a special performance by “Kasper and the Cow” performed by Jana Zeller from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Enjoy a funny adventure with Kasper, beloved hand puppet hero of Germany, who is known for his stocking cap and audience-engaging humor. Kasper packs to go on a journey, but before he can leave, a cow steals his suitcase.

With the help of his best friend, the endearing giant Augustin, Kasper has to go on a rollicking chase to reclaim his suitcase from the cow. This show was created by Ines Zeller Bass and has enraptured children and their families for 35 years. It is now proudly performed by Ines' daughter, Jana.

Timson Hill, a family cooperative, is a small, private, non-profit, fully licensed, NAEYC accredited preschool. The school is located in an historic schoolhouse overlooking the small village of Williamsville. The light-filled schoolroom and scenic grounds, including trails, fields and even a frog pond, provide a cheerful setting for learning through cooperative and independent play and exploration.

Timson Hill is currently accepting new enrollment for the fall term. Children ages 3-5 years old are welcome to enroll for 2, 3, 4 and 5-day morning programs and also for the afternoon programs.
