Silver Moon graduates celebrate

BRATTLEBORO — Silver Moon School of Feng Shui Certificate Program 2014-2015 graduates recently celebrated their accomplishments.

Feng Shui is the ancient art and science of creating harmony, balance and intention in our homes and work environments, to promote health and success for the occupants. Students apply the concepts to their own living spaces while taking the course. This allows them to study the basic principles learned in class and experience the profound positive effects the practice of Feng Shui may have on their lives.

Graduated students of all levels are certified to practice Feng Shui professionally with individual clients, families, businesses or office spaces. After successful completion of level 1, students are required to work with a minimum of nine Token Clients before monetary fees are accepted as payment.

This gives students the opportunity to get field experience, and allows individuals to be introduced to the benefits of Feng Shui, who are curious about having a consultation, but have little or no knowledge of what it involves. This is also a wonderful option for persons who have limited incomes to enhance their environments and sense of well-being.

Silver Moon School of Feng Shui also organizes Community Service Group Projects. These projects are free of charge to a wide range of organizations that affect the community as a whole.

Instructor/director Patti Newton is a graduate of Carole Hyder's Wind and Water School of Feng Shui. Hyder is a world renowned Feng Shui expert/author and was a direct student of the late Grand Master Professor Lin Yun.

Newton is the owner of Silver Moon Adornments, a retail establishment specializing in home décor, jewelry and gifts, located in downtown Brattleboro, and is a professional member of the International Feng Shui Guild.
