Battlyn Brothers to play on Brattleboro Town Common

BRATTLEBORO — The Brattlyn Brothers will perform live at the gazebo at the Brattleboro Common on Tuesday, July 28, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. This is a free concert sponsored by the Brattleboro Recreation and Parks Department.

The band says they play classic rock and roll music the way it was meant to be played. With a selection of tunes from artists including The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Wilson Pickett, The Beach Boys, and Van Morrison, they present music of the '60s and '70s.

Kevin Parry is featured on electric guitar and vocals along with Ken Storey on bass and vocals, Richard Mayer on drums, and Doctor Joe Santry on electric guitar and vocals. Special featured soloist is Scott Sizer on trumpet and harmonica.

The Brattlyn Brothers is a collaboration of musicians from Vermont and New York City. The Brothers are often heard playing together at such venues as The Marina Restaurant in Brattleboro, Rick's Tavern in Newfane, and The Dover Forge in West Dover. They have also appeared at the Guilford Fair and the Brattleboro Fourth of July celebration.
