Main Street Arts celebrates grand re-opening

SAXTONS RIVER — Main Street Arts celebrates the completion of its major renovation with an open house on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 2 to 5 p.m.

The non-profit community arts center, at 35 Main St., plans to celebrate with haiku, spin art, a magic show, and performances, with refreshments and tours of the building on offer. Rides on the elevator will show off new, full access to all activities at the center.

“It has been a long process but we are happy with the results and excited about sharing them with the community,” said MSA Director Margo Ghia.

Funds for the $875,000 project were provided in part by grants from the Vermont Community Development Program, the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, and The Dee Foundation, and by the gifts of many individual donors.

Now in its 27th year, MSA is dedicated to serving the creative needs of the greater community by encouraging creative exploration and expression through a wide range of experiences.
