BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Centre for Children has founded a new scholarship fund aimed at helping families stay at the Centre who encounter a short term financial shortfall, such as a temporary job loss or other crisis and need help to continue to pay their child care bill.
The Centre has received private donations and a $2,000 donation from the Edwards Child Care Scholarship Fund of the Vermont Community Foundation to establish this fund, called the Starfish Fund.
“If it helps even one child, it makes a difference,” said Centre Director Nan Mann.
