An editing tip...

BRATTLEBORO — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” contains a spelling error.

Should it not be spelled “Grate?”

Merriam-Webster tells us that the word “grate” is 1) to break into small pieces, 2) to grind against something with a harsh noise, 3) to have an irritating effect.

All of these definitions seem appropriate.
