In-Sight Photography Project hosts ‘101 Donations’ fundraiser

BRATTLEBORO — In-Sight Photography Project has unsealed its archives to reveal a treasure-trove of photographs that will be on exhibit for the month of March at the gallery at Hermit Thrush Brewery.

These prints - literally 101 of them - have been donated over the years by dozens of professional photographers in support In-Sight's scholarship fund.

Each print in the exhibit is up for raffle with the drawing taking place at a public reception at Hermit Thrush, 20 High St., on Thursday, March 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Raffle tickets cost $10, or 6 for $50. Tickets are available at three locations in Brattleboro: In-Sight Photography Project at 45 Flat St., Zephyr Designs at 129 Main St, and Vermont Artisan Designs at 106 Main St.

Participants purchase a ticket, fill out their name, address and phone, and then take the ticket to Hermit Thrush during open hours. After seeing the exhibit and making a choice, participants drop the ticket into the cup corresponding to the print they hope to win. With 101 prints in the show, chances are excellent.

The drawing takes place at a public reception at Hermit Thrush. In-Sight will provide food and raffle tickets for sale. Hermit Thrush will sell samples and pints of their beers brewed on site. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn for each print at 7:45 p.m. and, if winners are there, they can take the print home.
