Rock Voices returns to Brattleboro for a spring concert

BRATTLEBORO — Rock Voices, the local community rock chorus, will perform a selection of rock and pop classics at Brattleboro's Centre Congregational Church at 193 Main St. on Saturday, April 16, at 7 p.m.

The group's spring concert will include hits from the 1960s to the present day, from Frankie Valli and Marvin Gaye to Sting, David Bowie, U2, and Adele. The songs represent the choir's greatest hits from past concerts and will be included on a CD available this summer.

Directed by Tony Lechner, the 100-plus voice choir is backed by a four-piece band with local roots: Brett Jenkins (guitar), Dan Leary (bass), Andrew Lederman (keyboards), and David Tallarida (drums).

A 50/50 raffle will be held during the concert as a benefit for the Brattleboro Centre for Children, a nonprofit early-childhood program based in the Centre Church.
