Grant is denied

DUMMERSTON — DUMMERSTON - The town was recently denied a grant from the Agency of Transportation's Better Roads program.

During Highway Foreman Lee Chamberlin's Roads Report at the July 6 Selectboard meeting, he informed the Board he didn't know the reason for the denial, but planned to follow up with the Agency to find out.

The grant was supposed to fund culvert and ditch-line work along Upper Dummerston Road.
