Crowell Gallery to show works of Xi siblings

NEWFANE — The Robert L. Crowell Art Gallery at Moore Free Library, 23 West St., is showing the works of Cai Xi and Le Xi during the month of August.

Both artists share an abiding interest in light and shadow, time and space, according to a news release. Using brushwork and charcoal, line and color, as well as kinetic video art media, the brother/sister exhibit will entertain and enlighten.

An artist reception is scheduled for Aug. 4, at 6 p.m., at the gallery.

“Non-Conformist: Brother/Sister Exhibition” can be seen during regular library hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 1 to 5 p.m., Thursdays, 2 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit moorefreelibrary.wordpress.com or call the library at 802-365-7948 for more information.
