Golfing for alumni association supports future graduates

BRATTLEBORO — A perfect Vermont day with sunny blue skies provided the perfect setting for the BHS/BUHS Annual Alumni Golf Tournament on June 18 at the Brattleboro Country Club.

Known highlights of this year's tournament included the team of Hugh Barber, Dana Zelenakas, Mike Cassidy, and Jamie McAuliffe taking home the first place prize.

Congratulations for a big day for Chris Haskins, who experienced the thrill of a lifetime with a hole in one. Our annual putting contest provided great entertainment, and this year was no exception: Unbelievably, 10 of our golfers used their skill and a lot of luck to make one putt apiece. The finalists decided on the luck of the draw with one of our first-place team members, Mike Cassidy, named the overall winner.

The BHS/BUHS Alumni Association thanks the sponsors for this year's tournament and appreciates all who participated. Please remember, it is you who make our association the success it has been over these many years.

And most importantly, through your continued financial support - whether through tournament entrance fees, the purchase of mulligans, participating in the putting contest, coming out to our annual dance, or paying your dues - you are supporting our future graduates.

Next year will be better than ever, exceeding all expectations of those who choose to come back and participate.
