BSD Dance Company presents ‘Summer Dances’

BRATTLEBORO — Enjoy an evening of dance with the BSD Dance Company as it presents 'Summer Dances' outdoors under the Vermont sky.

The performance will take place at 7 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 11, and Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Rotary Ampitheater Stage located in Living Memorial Park.

It will feature original works of modern and contemporary dance that inspire romance, expressiveness, and divine grace.

Choreography will be by company members and Brattleboro School of Dance faculty, including Jamie Gehring, Sonya Marx, Sophia Marx, Phoebe Green, and company director Rachel Hebert.

Bring your favorite picnic blanket or chair and make yourself comfortable with a beautiful view of the stage and surrounding hills and mountains.

It is the mission of the BSD Dance Company to promote dance arts in the New England area through the creation of opportunities for dance professionals and semi-professionals, and through performance opportunities for dancers. They also seek to broaden access to dance performance for audiences and build a love of the art form throughout the local and extended community.
