Bruce Mandel performs at Wardsboro Town Hall

WARDSBORO — Bruce Mandel performs on Friday, July 27, as part of Wardsboro Curtain Call's 2018 Music Series.

Mandel's acoustic guitar, keen lyrical ear, and intimate and honest voice have traveled with him across the country and through musical territory both new and familiar, according to a news release. “Lyrically driven, the diverse sounds of his recordings straddle and expand the contemporary folk, Americana, and singer/songwriter genres, reflecting the breadth of Mandel's experience,” according to the release.

Singer & Musician writes: “reminiscent of the singer/songwriters who penned the soundtrack of the '60s and '70s, Bruce Mandel brews up a coffeehouse sound that's espresso rich in inspiration and experience.” To learn more, visit www.brucemandel.com.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and music begins at 7 p.m. at the Wardsboro Town Hall Café on Main Street. Refreshments available and BYOB; admission is $10 at the door. WCC's proceeds from 50/50 raffle, sales of WCC merchandise, and donations to the 'Refreshment Jar' benefit Wardsboro Fire & Rescue.
