Coffey: Visit brings up memories of son

GUILFORD — Recently, Sara Coffey stopped by to visit. We talked about my son, Ronnie Squires, who served in the state Legislature in the 1990s.

Ronnie was for the little guys, for everyone he was serving. He wasn't pushy. He listened to everyone and hoped they'd see his side of things. He was loyal to the people he represented from Guilford and Vernon. He always said, “Be yourself.”

These days, the world is a worrisome place, but we've got these wonderful towns. Sara Coffey cares about our community. She is easy to talk to. She's a hard worker.

She has my vote. I hope you will consider voting for her, too.
