WARDSBORO — The Wardsboro Energy Committee will host its first “Dessert and Learn” workshop, “Do it Yourself Home Efficiency Improvements” on Tuesday, June 25, at 7:15 p.m., at the Wardsboro Town Hall.
Dessert donations to share are welcome but not necessary. The event is free and open to all, a gathering of friends and neighbors to discuss no-cost and low-cost measures to lower the cost of operating homes and businesses.
Jeff Manney from Efficiency Vermont will lead the discussion and has promised to bring “lots of props” that show strategies, methods, and products to lower utility bills and make homes more comfortable.
All are welcome, including those from other towns, including renters, homeowners, businesses, do-it-yourselfers, and especially professional contractors. Participants can learn about incentives and rebates, share success stories, or get advice on projects.
