Annual Compass 'fiesta' benefits school's Global Connections program

WESTMINSTER — On Saturday Feb. 29, from 6 to 10 p.m., Compass School will host its annual Global Connections Fiesta dinner, dance, and silent auction.

A fabulous all-inclusive multi-course Mexican meal will be served, followed by the Eugene Uman Latin Jazz ensemble performing dance music. Uman is a renowned pianist and composer who is director of the Vermont Jazz Center. His band is sure to please with beautiful Latin jazz-inspired dance music.

There will be a silent auction where you can get great deals on a variety of items from local businesses, gift certificates, art work, services, and much more. All proceeds support the junior class expedition to Mexico in April.

The greater community at large is invited and encouraged to attend. Anyone who can't attend can help support the trip by donating at the school website.
