Thank you from Antoine’s family

BRATTLEBORO — Our beloved son, partner, and brother Antoine Cunningham-Cook died tragically and too soon on Jan. 25. Although our immediate and ongoing grief has impacted us each and every minute, the love and support we have received from our family, friends, and the Brattleboro community have been truly incredible.

Thank you for dropping off meals, gift cards, baked goods, and candles. Thank you for the many and beautiful cards, notes, books, poems, and prayers. Thank you for leaving art projects, stuffed animals and toys for Antoine and Stephanie's 5-year-old son, Quentin.

Additionally, we don't have enough words to thank everyone for the generosity that poured into GoFundMe, where we have raised over $50,000 for Quentin's future needs. We are blessed to live where we do, and beyond grateful to you all.

We will be having an in-person Celebration of Life at 11 am on Saturday, July 3 at the Winston Prouty Campus in Brattleboro. All ages are welcome, but we ask that anyone over the age of 15 be vaccinated; please contact us or visit tinyurl.com/AntoineJordan if you'd like to reserve a seat.

Due to travel logistics the celebration will also be livestreamed on YouTube. We will be telling stories and remembering Antoine, who brought joy and friendship to so many.

May we continue to pay these qualities forward in his name. May everyone find comfort in their hour of need.
