BELLOWS FALLS — Village Square Booksellers organizes the 3rd Friday Art Walk monthly event in Bellows Falls and surrounding villages. This month's event is Sept. 17 .
Besides the Harvest Festival at the BF Farmer's Market, there will be the following events this Friday:
• New exhibit at Works on Paper: Meet the artist: Leigh Niland's London Pictures.
• Kids event: Storytelling at Village Square Booksellers. Pat Fowler will be reading aloud from various children's books, coloring, etc.
• Downstreet Café: Art opening and a local showcase open mic performance.
• Boccelli's on the Canal Café, open at 5 p.m.
• Halladays offers a wine tasting, plus Halladays Harvest Barn dips.
• Michael Joseph will have antique jewelry on display.
• Coyote Moon and J&H Hardware will be open until 7 p.m.
• Maplewing Artisans in the Square will feature Vermont handmade crafts.
• The Rock and Hammer will be open until 6 p.m.
• People's United Bank will have an art exhibit by Sherwin Art Glass
• There will be a painting exhibit at the Health Center of Bellows Falls by Saxtons River Art Guild
• In Saxtons River, Pleasant Valley Brewing and the Jelly Bean Tree Crafts Cooperative will be participating, and the Saxtons River Inn will be open for dinner.
• In Rockingham, Leslie's Tavern will have an exhibit by the Saxtons River Art Guild.
