BRATTLEBORO — Don “The Con” Trump was fully informed that he had lost the 2020 election and that there would be no way to change the outcome. Yet he said this as he defended the Jan. 6 insurgents: “If you know a vote is fraudulent, right? How can you pass on a fraudulent vote to Congress?”
If you are lying and you know you are lying - and you continue to do so - you are a fraud, and quite possibly a criminal.
If you are lying and you are totally unaware that you are lying, then you are in need of serious mental health treatment.
In either case, the office of the president of the United States is not within your reach unless the electorate has been so poisoned that democracy itself has become a fraud.
It is time for the American people to “Make America America Again” (MAAA). By this, I mean that we recommit ourselves to the values of equal justice for all, a level playing field at the ballot box and in the marketplace, and adherence to the rule of law - not the rule of wily, conniving, and sniveling fools.
