Amazing Hunt fundraiser will benefit Hospice

BRATTLEBORO — A black cat, a woman in a Hawaiian shirt, a license plate from Nevada - these are some of the possible items that people will seek out during the Brattleboro Area Hospice's Amazing Hunt on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Teams compete to score the most points while navigating downtown Brattleboro, and having fun, all while raising money to benefit Brattleboro Area Hospice.

The fee to participate is a minimum of $200 per team - four-member teams are encouraged - and funds can be raised through sponsorship from friends and family or a team donation.

A wrap-up celebration will follow with food, a cash bar, and prizes for the top three teams.

The event will kick off from the River Garden Marketplace at 157 Main St. at 1 p.m. Register at Brattleborohospice.org or at the time of check-in, 12:30 p.m. The search runs until 5 p.m.
