WARDSBORO — My thanks to the voters of Dover, Readsboro, Searsburg, Somerset, Stamford, and Wardsboro for re-electing me.

Thanks to all who worked on my behalf, and thanks to Geralyn Sniatkowski for giving constituents a choice in this election.

I will continue to work for our district on educational funding reform, economic development, and balancing the budget in a responsible manner. Soon I will be setting up an office schedule to be available to everyone during our legislative session.

Corporate energy giant TransCanada is appealing the property value assessment of their Bellows Falls hydroelectric dam, seeking to reduce the property's value by $22 million, from about $108 million to $86 million.
