WEST TOWNSHEND Potluck supper and concert: Musicians this month will be Michael Donahue and Sally Newton of West Townshend, joined by George Ainley and Julie Levy of Weathersfield. They will be playing old time string band songs and tunes on fiddle, guitar, banjo and banjo ukulele. The potluck starts at 6:30 and music will begin around 7:00. Daisy Bates: First Lady of Little Rock: The film tells the story of Bates's life and public support of nine black students who registered to attend the all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, which culminated in a constitutional crisis — pitting a president against a governor and a community against itself. 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. .

PUTNEY Film: "2001: A Space Odyssey": Mankind finds a mysterious, obviously artificial, artifact buried on the moon and, with the intelligent computer HAL, sets off on a quest. 7 p.m. $5 suggested donation.
