PUTNEY "White: A Memoir in Color": "White" A Memoir in Color" a new documentary which premiered at Lincoln Center, will be introduced and followed by a discussion with producer, director and editor Joel Katz. It explores issues of race, adoption, family and what it means to be white in America through the story of Katz’s own family across generations. His father's role as a white professor at Howard University, a traditionally black college, during the civil rights era comes to bear on decisions Katz and his wife later make about adoption and starting their own family. 7 p.m. $10. Adult Drawing Class: This six-week class incorporates contour drawing, value and texture development, perspective drawing, drawing from life, figure drawing and portraiture.
