TOWNSHEND Art Show and Concert: The Leland and Gray Middle and High School presents its annual Winter Art Show and Concert. The Middle School Band and Chorus, High School Band and Chorus, a cappella, Samba and Jazz Band will all perform. There will also be mixed media portraits, drawings, and ceramics from the eighth-grade class as well as ceramics, paintings, drawings, sculpture, and digital media created by high schoolers. Finally, there will be student-produced fine wood working pieces and welded sculptures. GRAFTON Preschoolers Learn About Birds/Become Bird Watchers: Environmental educator Lynn Morgan presents "Up, Up and Away With Birds." Children ages 3-5 play games to learn bird names, venture outside to become bird watchers, and then transform into birds themselves. The group will make a holiday present to take home for the birds in their own backyards.
