BRATTLEBORO Future Collective’s Off-Beat Family-Friendly Seasonal Shindig : Music, games, dancing and more at a family-friendly community party featuring interactive entertainment and art, including a carnival, potluck meal, variety show, silent auction, dance party, and live music from Brattleboro experimental groups Happy Jawbone Family Band and Subtle Action. Proceeds benefit the Future Collective, a Brattleboro not-for-profit founded earlier this year by young people, that seeks to foster creative, political, and personal expression by providing fun, inclusive, community-minded spaces and events. 3 p.m. Hootenanny; 5 p.m. Potluck, 5:30 p.m. - midnight variety and music shows. $2-$12 sliding scale.
