PUTNEY Tim Weiner and his new book: Enemies: A History of the FBI: Pulitzer Prize winning author Tim Weiner, whose journalistic work on the Pentagon and the CIA won him the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, debuts his new book, the first definitive history of the FBI’s secret intelligence operations, and the first book to draw from the declassified SOLO files. 7:30 p.m. $15, $12 for students and seniors. NEWFANE Plant and Bake Sale: The Newfane Garden Club will hold its annual Plant and Bake Sale. There will be various perennials to choose from along with garden related items such as tools, books, gloves and second hand treasures. GUILFORD A memorial celebration of the children's stories of the late Rev. Shirley Harris Crockett: Four Guilford Community Church storytellers will recreate stories from the collection. Music will be provided by the duo, Coracle, with Cynthia Hughes on Celtic harp, and John Crockett, who plays cello and Celtic whistles. 7 p.m. Free, donations welcome.
