WALPOLE Crab Full Moon Festival: Each month at the time of the full moon, people who are concerned about the state of the world and humanity as a whole, gather to offer service by meditating using a scientific form of creative meditation. This form of meditation helps to step down the spiritual and healing energies, available at this specific time for planetary redemption. 7-9 p.m. Walpole Unitarian Church, Corner of Main and Union Streets. JAMAICA Pikes Falls Chamber Music Festival: The musicians include some of the best young instrumentallists in the country. All evening concerts will have pre-concert lectures (starting 1 hour prior to the event) and post-concert receptions. 7 p.m. Through Friday, August 03, 2012. Free. BRATTLEBORO African Dance and Drum Summer Class: All levels are always welcome and the classes are accompanied by accomplished drummer, Namory Keita from Guinea along with Jason Graves and other drummers. 7 p.m. The cost is on a sliding scale of $12-15. Brattleboro Retreat Golf Tournament : The Brattleboro Retreat will host its seventh annual Golf Tournament at the Brattleboro Country Club. All proceeds will help support therapeutic recreational activities for children at the Retreat. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m.; dinner is at 5:30 p.m. Registration is $130.
