BRATTLEBORO Postcard Party with VT's Local Love Brigade: Drop by and make postcards to send out in an avalanche of love to support victims of hate. You will be part of a movement that has begun to illuminate the power of fierce love. There will be refreshments and plenty of materials to make a card. All are welcome. 11 a.m. Free. BRATTLEBORO Balkan Cafe: International music, traditional dance, and food. Join in the dancing, listen to the music or just hang out and have a good time. Easy, beginner-friendly dances will be scattered throughout the afternoon with light teaching. Live folk-dance music by MerakKef Express, featuring Joe Blumenthal (string bass, percussion), Kitty Kagav (vocals, percussion), Karen Klevanosky (saxophone, flute, piccolo, clarinet, kaval, percussion, vocals), Barbara MacLean (clarinet, tambura, vocals, percussion), Bob Schulz (laouto, guitar, tambura), and Debby Szajnberg (violin, vocals, percussion).
