Music

BRATTLEBORO Three Way Street: Musical mix from country to Cajun, bluegrass to blues, and swing to soul. Neither the band or audience knows where the set will lead in any given show, but the synergy of players who have been performing half their lives, and over two decades together, brings a freshness of perspective to classic songs and tunes. Haunting fiddle turns to driving Chuck Berry guitar licks to sizzling salsa flavored mandolin riffs in the same evening. Vocal harmonies add flavor to the rhythm and pulse of the show. All three are full-time musicians and Southern VT residents. The ensemble includes: Kevin Parry on lead guitar, harmonica and percussion; Mark Trichka on mandolin and guitar; and Lisa Brande on fiddle and guitar. The Brattleboro Common Art in the Park series is sponsored by Brattleboro Rec. & Parks and Brattleboro Savings and Loan. 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (rain location: Gibson Aiken Ctr., 207 Main St.). Free. Brattleboro Common.
