WARDSBORO Fourth of July Street Fair & Parade: Food: Chicken BBQ with homemade side dishes, hamburgers and hot dogs cooked to order, homemade pies and bread, cupcakes to candy, strawberries served with homemade biscuits, and more. Book sale on the library lawn; quilt exhibit in the church; collectibles and art outside the library; 40 vendors and crafters lining Main St.; White Elephant Sale; games run by the Boy Scouts. Music: Julie and Ken Olsson will sing the Star Spangled Banner to kick off the parade followed by their concert from the town hall porch after the parade, Alan Bills and group, Stratton Town Hall Boys, bagpiper Ted Kramer, Grafton Band, fiddle player Ida Specker, and anyone else who would like to join in. Plus: Christopher Shelton, clown, trained by Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey, on stilts and performing a half-hour show. Also: Skate Jam at the park. Duck race. All day.
