CHESTER The 2017 Solar Eclipse -- What Happened and How to Do the Next One: At this meeting of the Southern Vermont Astronomy Group, attendees will relate their experiences observing the last eclipse. BELLOWS FALLS Breath of the Heart: Introduction to Somatic Breath Practice: Somatic Breath Therapy is a conscious intentional tool that assists the body to return to an open, healthy breath. Through gentle "coaching" the body and mind to learn to relax into a connected full belly breath allowing the healing of the breath system and all the "bodies" to unfold. Each person's experience and journey of this unfolding is unique and individual. The body, through the breath, knows the way to wellness. Trusting the breath to lead the way is a key to allowing the pathway to each level of freedom in the body, mind, and emotions. BRATTLEBORO Before Tap Shoes: Demo, Mini Class, Conversation about Tap Dance: Have you ever caught yourself watching others tap in a movie or elsewhere and thought, "gee, that looks pretty fun! I wish I could do that!" Now's the time to try it out! Francesca Bourgault of Windham Movement Apparel will guide you through some tap dance basics with spunk and encouragement followed up by a conversation about local tap and other dance opportunities.
