GUILFORD The Guilford Fair: The Guilford Fair honors and promotes Vermont's agricultural traditions in a way that is educational and entertaining. People come to relax and to watch the horse draw, cattle and horse shows, and sheep shearing demonstrations. Homegrown produce, flowers, handiwork and hobbies to admire. The Brattlyn Brothers play rock, rhythm and blues favorites with Kevin Parry and Joe Santry on guitars, Ken Storey on bass, Richie Mayer on drums, and Scott Sizer on trumpet and harmonica. Paula Bradley and Bill Dillof, known as "Moonshine Holler," play old time Appalachian music on fiddle, banjo, guitar and harmonica. Guilford resident Patty Carpenter brings her Dysfunctional Family Jazz Band to the stage, including her daughter Melissa Shetler on vocals, Scott Shetler on saxophone, Travis Light on bass, Paul Sullivan on guitar, and Lou Trombley on drums. 9/4: 10 am Brattlyn Brothers; 12:30 pm Bradley/Dillof; 3 pm Carpenter and the Dysfunctional Family Jazz Band. $8, $5 seniors, $2 ages 6-12, free for under age 5 and under.
