BELLOWS FALLS Windmill Hill Pinnacle Association Snowshoe Hike at Bald Hill: One can merrily trod over whatever frozen stuff nature has to offer when wearing snowshoes. Furthermore, the usually slower, more deliberate pace from snowshoes allows a closer look at one's surroundings. Make the most of such an experience and learn about the terrain and the history of the area by joining the guided walk that Vanessa Stern, member of Bald Hill Conservation Committee and the Windmill Hill Pinnacle Association Board, is leading. BRATTLEBORO "I am Vermont Too" Forum: In partnership with the "I am Vermont Too" photo/story project, the Root is hosting a community forum and gallery, "Visible in Vermont: A portrait of Racial Microaggression" across VT. The photo gallery will be accompanied by discussion, learning, sharing, and action, including a panel of self-identified people of color living in VT who will talk about their own experiences, the impact these experiences have had on their lives, and how we can move forward in being a more open and supportive community. During the forum, the "I am Vermont Too" project will be taking photos of any people of color who want to participate. Light refreshments, childcare, and ASL interpretation will be provided.
