BRATTLEBORO Tracking Series with George Leoniak: Participants will find out how to recognize and interpret tracks and other wildlife signs to learn about the lives of the wild animals around us. The destination is Hogback Mountain in Marlboro, a high elevation site with spruce, fir and yellow birch. Tracks of snowshoe hare, and other mountain dwellers are likely. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. (Additional excursion: 4/8: Harrisville Brook). $20/session BEEC members, $25/session for non-members. BRATTLEBORO Mini-Golf: Families are invited to play unlimited rounds of mini-gold with the gorgeous view of Mount Wantastiquet. Free popcorn and the Winston Prouty Early Learning Center will have a snack sale to raise funds for their gardens. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. $5. DUMMERSTON Balkan Cafe: International music, traditional dance, and food. Join in the dancing, listen to the music, or just hang out and have a good time. Easy, beginner-friendly dances will be scattered throughout the afternoon with light teaching. All levels welcome. MerakKef Express plays folk-dance music from around the world, with an emphasis on Eastern Europe.
