BRATTLEBORO Class 4 Kids--Fun Foods from Around the World: Ireland: In honor of St. Patrick's Day this month, we'll make soda bread and sweeten it with local maple syrup, the Vermont Harvest of the Month. Irish soda bread is a hearty, nutritious, and aromatic quick bread that anyone can make. We will also study the language and culture of Ireland while the bread is in the oven. TOWNSHEND "Chair Yoga" Class: Beginners to yoga are welcome, as is anyone with limited flexibility or an inability to practice on the floor. Participants will flow through an eclectic blend of seated and standing poses while incorporating breathing techniques into their movements. You will open your hips, move your shoulders and neck, find length in your spine. A goal is to experience peaceful relaxation and gentle invigoration.
