BELLOWS FALLS Summer 2018 Group Show - "The Arts of Resistance": Presented in collaboration with exhibitions at Project Space 9, curated by the Rockingham Arts and Museum Project (RAMP) and 33 Bridge Street, all located in downtown Bellows Falls. Central to the works in the show is the belief that artists are historically proven as intrinsic to the change and progression of culture and politics in ways spanning from contemplation to propaganda. "The Arts of Resistance" exhibition asks: "How does resistance relate to community through art? BRATTLEBORO Keeping Kids Safe in Our Community : Learn about the Child Advocacy model of child abuse treatment. Vermont adopted the CAC model 10 years ago. BRATTLEBORO Protest Vigil at TD Bank: TD is a major investor in Tar Sands. TD helps to fund the Dakota Access Pipeline. The State of Vermont keeps most of our cash in TD. In addition to attending this vigil (signs will be provided), if you're a TD depositor, you can change banks.
