BRATTLEBORO "Sweet Charity": Charity Hope Valentine is a hopelessly romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess looking for love in 1960s New York City. Originally conceived, directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse, Sweet Charity premiered on Broadway in 1966, garnering 9 Tony Award nominations. This production features seasoned veteran NEYT performers and exciting up-and-comers who bubble with sass, packing loads of surprises for an audience who enjoys some grit and sparkle. Geoffrey - "Borderlands": A local artist, Geoffrey describes the images she creates in a variety of media as "whispers from a place where the veils between worlds are thin, a place where boundaries touch like the edges and beginnings of lovers pressed close against each other's skin. DOVER Hungrytown: West Townshend residents Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, who make up Hungrytown, have been performing professionally for nearly 15 years. This acoustic duo recently returned from a six-week tour of Great Britain and Germany, following a four-month tour of the American south and southwest. Their songs and music have appeared in many television programs, including IFC's Portlandia, Comedy Central's The Daily Show, and Netflix's new comedy Lady Dynamite, as well as documentaries and major sporting events. Their third and latest album, "Further West," made the top 10 on the American Folk DJ charts for two months, and at least 14 "Best of the year" lists. Sponsored by the Dover Free Library. 7 p.m. $10.
