SO. NEWFANE Birds on a Wire: Birds on a Wire have been singing together since 2008. They play traditional fiddle tunes, singing three-part harmony. Jenny's main strings are fiddle and guitar, but she may also pick up the mandolin or sit at the piano. Greg started out playing the banjo with friends in college under the moniker, Flying Fingers. They later became a traveling contradance band and he switched to the hammered dulcimer. He now sings and tells stories. They have returned from Maine to their former So. VT home for this concert. This show for all ages is part of the Schoolhouse Rocks series produced by local community members for local community members and anyone who appreciates great music.
