Grant opportunity for skatepark

Originally published in The Commons issue #454 (Wednesday, April 11, 2018). This story appeared on page D4.

Brattleboro may receive a grant for the skate park on the hill of Living Memorial Park, provided everybody votes to nominate our town on the website for Meet Me at the Park, a project of the National Recreation and Park Association and the Walt Disney Company.

You can vote as many times as you wish until the end of April. To vote, click on the link and nominate Brattleboro, Vermont. Don’t waste a vote on the preselected choices.

Several towns will receive grants.

Thanks for the support!
