BRATTLEBORO—The Brattleboro Women’s Chorus starts on Wednesday, Sept. 12, with an Open Sing for Women at All Soul’s Church in West Brattleboro from 7 to 8:30 p.m..
All community women are welcome to join in on this evening of singing together, which is also the opening night of rehearsals for the chorus’ 17th year. The chorus meets Wednesdays, from 7 to 8:45 p.m. after the Open Sing, and welcomes all women and girls over 10 who enjoy singing.
Most songs are taught by rote and by ear, so music reading expertise is not required. There is a participation fee charged for chorus, with financial aid available.
For more information, contact director Becky Graber at 802-254-8994, or contact her via the chorus website, www.brattleborowomenschorus.org.
