WILMINGTON—From Toronto to the world stage to Memorial Hall, Canadian roots rock band Enter The Haggis is serving up a benefit concert for Deerfield Valley Food Pantry, and you’re invited.
The benefit at Memorial Hall is Thursday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $26.
Fans know Enter The Haggis, or ETH, as an indie/Scottish/folk rock world-fusion powerhouse, and a true grassroots success story.
Since its birth in 1996, ETH has kept the heat on with five albums and a decade on the road. And the results speak for themselves: ETH garnered top 10 charting positions on Billboard, Amazon, and iTunes; appearances on A&E’s Breakfast with the Arts and Live with Regis and Kelly, and its own PBS special, Eclectic. Electric. Roots Rock Reinvented.
The band’s latest release, Whitelake, funded by fans and recorded in a rustic Canadian cabin, makes its home between the fiercely creative and contemporary soundscapes of Radiohead and the heartfelt storytelling and infectious grooves of The Band.
The Deerfield Valley Food Pantry is a 501 (c)(3) organization, and a member of the Vermont Foodbank, serving Dover, Halifax, Jacksonville, Marlboro, Readsboro, Searsburg, Whitingham, and Wilmington.
Tickets for Enter The Haggis (www.EnterTheHaggis.com) at Memorial Hall on Thursday, Dec. 6, cost $26, and are available at www.wilmingtonconcertgigs.com and at Jezebel’s Eatery, 26 West Main St.
