BRATTLEBORO "Brattleboro's Letterpress Years": Peoples, Places, and the History of Words in Brattleboro, VT (Words Project) and Brooks Memorial Library present the first of three month-long exhibits focusing on Brattleboro's past as a bustling center of publishing and printing in New England. DUMMERSTON An Archaeological History of Vermont: Jess Robinson, PhD, State Archaeologist, Vermont Division for Historic Preservation, presents an archaeological overview of Vermont's past, from the first human entrants into the region, approximately 13,000 years ago, to the arrival of Europeans, and beyond. He will highlight recent discoveries and current debates throughout his presentation and answer questions afterwards.
