BRATTLEBORO Gallery the Woods: August Featured Artists: Richard Heller: Hidden and Revealed: New Studies on Yupo paper, framed. Heller explores mandala-like, ephemeral patterns that seem to be half hidden, half revealed. Peter Karner: Chunky, definite, functional everyday high fire stoneware using complex lustre, wax resist, and brushwork on the surface of the clay, reminiscent of textile. Continuing: William Hays: Award-winning linocuts capturing the magical landscape of Southern Vermont. BRATTLEBORO Senior Town Meeting (Sponsored by Bernie Sanders): Are you concerned about Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the high cost of prescription drugs? At a time when some in Washington want to make large cuts to Medicare and other senior programs it is time to be informed and get involved.
