WARDSBORO Knitting Circle: Beginners welcome. Knitting needles and free yarn are available for beginners to practice knitting, lessons are free, and there are many pattern books to loan to knitters even if they don't come to knitting circle. Adults and teens are welcome, any skill level, as well as crocheters, rug hookers, embroiderers, and cross-stitchers - needle workers of all kinds. 2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. Wednesdays (Fall and Winter). BRATTLEBORO Families United: This is a peer support group for people who have been impacted by the Dept. of Children and Families systems who want to make change. Open to parents, foster parents, children, siblings grandparents, strong allies. This is a safe, confidential, supportive space. We share experiences, build relationships, discuss resources, and organize to influence change in DCF, family court, and the legislative system. BRATTLEBORO Circus School Offers New Thanksgiving Break Camp: Your child will get top-notch instruction in a noncompetitive environment that teaches confidence, communication skills, perseverance, and pride, as well as how to be a fabulous acrobat, aerialist, juggler, or clown. Students work in groups by age and ability for the best learning experience. Half Day: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., ages 3-5; Full Day: 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., ages 5-17. $50 half day, $85 full day.
